Hello everyone!

My name is Brad, and I'm 17 years old (though not for much longer). I have been playing piano and taking lessons for 13 years now. I self-taught myself how to play guitar and bass 5 years ago and have been playing ever since, and I have been teaching myself drums for 3 years. In the past few months, I've starting teaching myself how to play the alto saxophone, with some additional help from my band director. I played the euphonium in elementary and middle school, but not anymore.

I began composing music 5 years ago, starting with just simple piano solos. It's amazing to me when I look back and see how much I've grown from just writing piano songs to now doing full orchestrations. I wrote my first orchestral piece this past year and had the privilege of teaching it to the school orchestra and having them perform it in concert. Since then I've had an overwhelming desire to learn more and continuously improve on my compositions. I'm looking at a few music colleges now, and am hoping to make some sort of career out of composing.

Let me just say that I'm glad I stumbled across this website. It's nice to find a place where everyone's passionate about the same thing you are, and are willing to help you and give you any sort of feedback and/or constructive criticism. I'm looking forward to sharing my pieces with you, as well as helping in any way that I can.

:D
