January 18, 20197 yr Difficult to comment - hope you don't mind me being honest but this is only my view: it doesn't seem to cohere well beyond the opening solo theme. It has potential for development but you decide to move off onto other episodes. There are faster and slower sections but they don't seem to relate. The long pedals (somewhere around 8'00") were starting to get tedious until at 8'42" when there's a sharp if subtle change in the harmony and a nice build up but that as suddenly evaporates when I was expecting some sort of climax (around 9'30"). However, an orchestral performance would undoubtedly bring out more than this rendition, like nuances of dynamics and expression. A score would have been nice. It has much potential but perhaps could be reworked here and there. Edited January 19, 20197 yr by Quinn typo
