Madrigal Style March

Featured Replies

This is designed to be a madrigal march/processional style song for people to slowly march to; it's semi-grand entrance music basically. It's also designed to have sections repeated, since it's for an event that can vary in the amount of time needed to be filled by music, so there are a number of repeated parts. I'd appreciate any suggestions or recommended edits!

This actually is a remade version of a song titled "Orchestra Piece," but I changed it so much that it wasn't the same song anymore to the point where it's not really the same song anymore.

Hello,

I like the melancholic mood of the piece; surely can be useful for many occasions. It does not have any strong, ear-catching melody or harmony progression, which is very good because of the purpouse of the piece. I am not sure, what in this context "madrigal" means, so my remark might be inadequate, but since it's march and You write that people should be marching to it, I think that it would be good, if You add some rythmical section which would be beating the rythm throughout the piece, so the "marching part" is easier to follow (but without it I think it could be used in some movie eventually).

Best regards.
