Hello, this is a piece I’ve been working on and it’s unfinished so the scoring and details haven’t been completed but the basic outline of the song is there. I’m looking for suggestions on a title and just to see what you think. I recommend listening on the muse score website because the sound font is included and sounds a little better. Thankshttps://musescore.com/user/1990646/scores/6093018

@chavisH I like the motif, it is great. The harmonies are also very good and in many places quite remarkable. I don't know how much do You plan to change it, but the notation seems to me a bit problematic in some places. The order of the lines of the individual instruments is unconventional occasionally, for example emplacement of the two solo violins (resp. there's written "violin" so I assume that means like solo violin) is quite strange. In the measure 37 (and on) there are (at the very bottom) some very low notes in the violin, which are substantially bellow the range of the violin (sometimes is scordatura is used, but this seems to me too much low; or this can be some mistake). In some places there are at least for me some  unreasonable notations, for example measure 105, where cellos play accompainment and they play downbeat as well as offbeats, where they play doublestops moreover, which seems to me unnecessarily difficult. So I'd suggest to divide this between more strings (of course it could be played all in cellos and use divisi, but that'd weakened the sound). The last thing I want to mention is that You sometimes (but pretty much throughout the piece) write in one section too many parts (for example clarinet and oboe measure 70 or french horn measure 72), which could be of course doable, but it would require more proper notation; I9d like to point out, that in some places there is "the right amount of parts", but there are all written in one, for example trumpets measure 232. (And personally I think, that for a waltz it is not necessary to take some ridiculously big orchestra.)

I agree with fact that their is heavy instrumentation I’ve tried to bring it down a little and my notations and organization of the parts do need some work. Thanks so much for taking the time to give feedback, it really helps, and I’m glad you like the melodies.

Wow, I really like this! It's super catchy, it's really well orchestrated, and I think, for the most part, the song works really well. I think the previously made comments about notation structure and the large number of instruments used is correct, but I don't think that deters it from being a great piece.

If you're still looking for name suggestions, I would recommend "Waltz of the Parting Sun" or "Waltz of the Night." I'm not sure why, but this song struck me as something to be played and danced to in the middle of the night: just a thought.
