With the support of Cipriani family and the cooperation of Il Trittico Arte Rome, the competition is created in the name of the composer who’s well known for the music of movies like “Anonimo Veneziano” and cooperated with directors such as James Cameron and Dino Risi. His music was chosen also by directors like Quentin Tarantino and he is considered one of the most successful Italian composers for the big screen, along with Ennio Morricone, Riz Ortolani and Nino Rota.

The competition aims to be a real opportunity for the participants to develop their career, offering them the chance to be judged by an authoritative jury from Europe and the USA as well as with money prizes; among them, M° Andrea Morricone, son of Ennio and -like his father- composer of many theatrical scores such as the Oscar winner “Nuovo Cinema Paradiso”.

Among the partners of the project there is the international artists agency Classics Management from Budapest, Hungary, a country that in the last yeas attracted many Hollywood filmmakers due to the presence of the most advanced studios, qualified crew and a market rapidly growing. Just to name a few of the movies shot in Budapest in the last few years, we like to mention: Black Widow (2021), Gemini Man (2019), Robin Hood (2018), Blade Runner 2049 (2017), Inferno (2016) and The Martian (2015), along with many recent Netflix productions.
