October 2, 20214 yr Beautiful! I think this exemplifies your romantic style very well! The score and the programmatic titles at the beginning of each movement really helped for me to understand the music and it was quite fitting to the extra-musical context! The themes were quite unusual and angular in many places and this was an especially apt strategy for the flute because it can't play for very long or very loud in it's lowest range so you quickly move up the flutes range. The piece was inventive in character with often used canonic imitation. Thanks for sharing!
October 5, 20214 yr Alas, the score has gone. No matter, a most enjoyable piece and confirming your mastery of piano, harmony and harmonic rhythm. You also seem to have cornered the smaller ensemble market. (I envy you.) The piece is brilliant in its romantic context. You seem to have a natural flare for the contribution each instrument can give in the ensemble. And you seem to get exceptional quality and performance out of your software. This piece matches any commercial recording I can recall of similar music. A pleasure to listen to. Was there a reason for withdrawing the score? .
October 6, 20214 yr Probably the most Cinematic (I love cinematic music) melody for last 6 months on this forum! Thank you it is beautiful! https://musescore.com/community
October 23, 20214 yr Love this equilibristic writing. Very high quality work, I was thrown into an adventure! It would be nice to hear this in a live performance. One day I hope to have the same confidence as a composer. Edited October 23, 20214 yr by Olov
October 25, 20214 yr A lovely balance among the ensemble ... with very romantic themes ... reminds me of the late romantics ... Erich Wolfgang Korngold - the "syrupy-sweet" quality could be from one of his films: Edited October 25, 20214 yr by MJFOBOE
