Underwater Symphony · Stelvio Cipriani for James Cameron's Piranha II

Featured Replies

Everyone knows Ennio Morricone, almost everyone Nino Rota and Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco, do you know Stelvio Cipriani?
Praised by Quentin Tarantino, he worked with directors such as James Cameron, Dino Risi and Akira Kurosawa.

We are glad to announce that a competition for film music composers has been created in the name of Stelvio Cipriani, with the support of Cipriani family. We think that this can be a good opportunity for an emerging composer and we would like to share the news on this forum.

Frankly, not impressed. Hardly seems music for a horror feature if horror the genre is, and sounds too Morricone, thinking of the opening track of Sepolta Viva, or perhaps Metello  - lush, beautiful, wistful but far from horror.

These competitions usually come with an entry fee. What is the fee, may I ask.
