Henry Ng Tsz Kiu Posted February 19, 2023 Share Posted February 19, 2023 I don't know much of Brahms's Piano variations at all but I like his Variations on a Theme by Schumann, op.9 since I like the double variation plan and do study it. As well as the 15th which is very similar to Ennio Morricone’s Playing love from the movie The legend of 1900. Overall these variations are very profound. Those canonic variations are amazing since they are strict but at the same time very romantic and touching instead of calculating the intervals!
