Hi everyone,

Just finished composing a short orchestral piece for a wedding.

Hope you'll like it!

Cheers,

Very cool intro! I like those ascending arpeggios, man what an epic weeding you're going to celebrate.

It's very varied and the transitions fit, I like the part that goes from 1:35 to 1:45 and I believe it's the one that reminds me the most of some kind of weeding.

But from 2:40 to ~3:15 I totally lose any weeding-like feeling this song gave if there was any (but I believe this is just Wagner's and Mendelssohn's fault, not yours) and it turns into just EPIC music that would fit at any moment preceding some war or battle. The end seems premature to me but I liked it anyway. Thank you very much for sharing your work, It was indeed a pleasure to listen to it. Is that a tuba in ~2:35 (the low F# note)? It sounds powerful!

Kind regards.

Hey there, thank you for listening and for your comments!

I should have mentioned that this piece is the soundtrack for a short video, which tells the story of the married couple from their birth until today (oops, I did it again). I have therefore not tried to sound too much like a typical wedding piece, but I've rather tried to stick to the script. I realise that the last part, which is indeed a bit epic, might not represent their current life, though! 😄

Regarding the 2"35 F#, it could have been a Tuba, but I finally chose to get it played by horns and bass trombones. I believe the trombones are the ones that sound that powerful.

Cheers!

Fabien
