I just happened to find one of his written cadenza, for Wieniawski's Le carnaval russe Op.11. Then I just shocked. Monsterly difficult work. A good example to show how some of his works are as difficult as af. I just wonder if you guys could be able to play this, a culmination of Pag, Ernst and Wieniawski...

After learning about him, I am definitely interested in trying to learn something of his. Recommendations? I don't really know what pieces of his are worthwhile.

Well, most of his solo violin works and some of his violin concertos are worthy, either harmonically enjoyable or extremely virtuosic. I would recommend his 36 Preludes for Solo Violin for exercises, his Bach Sarabanda variata, cadenzas and 5 Grand Caprices for difficulty and violin sonatas for mature romantic harmonies ( tho it needs piano) It won't be complete for violin concertos to be played only with violin part, so I'm not recommending them here for musicality.

His variations are as good as those as well, his variations on Bruhms Piano Trio even got praise from Brahms himself.
