The material for this little thing split off from a piece imitating Bartok I was writing first. I could expand it through contrapuntal operations and interval expansion, explore more harmonies, etc. but I don't think it's quite worth it. I think you can try the contrapuntal operations since I feel like the winds are not given great significance here as they are usually paired up with the strings. Thanks for sharing!
