April 20, 20232 yr Wow - it sounds surprisingly good for having been recorded with your phone! The piece also shows much promise. The strings in the beginning with the horn melody serve as a very lucid introduction which is nicely developed and proceeds quite logically to a melody for the woodwinds. The strings then take over with some imitative material which is very interesting! I hope you develop this! Thanks for sharing! Btw - I am going to move it to the Incomplete works/Writers block section.
April 20, 20232 yr Hi @veps, I agree with Peter this is a very promising piece to be completed. The opening horn call is mesmerizing and fits well with the woodwind melody. The string material itself is exciting as well, if it is cohered and prepared more in the previous bars! I feel like you are using the orchestral colour with variety here.
