  • HtWinsor changed the title to Bagatelle 27 and 28

Hi @HtWinsor,

I like that in the "bagatelle 27" you have interactions between the hands instead of always having a melody-accompaniment pattern there. In "bagatelle 28" again it's too diminutive, but there is an interesting hemiola in b.5 which you can make use for development. Next you will have to make your pieces memorable. Many of your passages are very common pattern like scales, arpeggios and broken chords which composers often use to fill in the gaps between important passages rather than be the important material itself. Try making the melody memorable and/or having something rhythmically is interesting is important too!

Thanks for sharing!

Henry

I improvised on one of your melodies to show how development is worth the effort and btw its a beautiful melody and well written, its wrong to leave us with just half a story! 🙂You keep creating some really good ideas but maybe you're not aware of how good they are and then just want to create more rather than develop them. You are a mystery to me.
