Here is the start of my paiano concerto does anyone have any ideas on what the next section should sound like?

Hi @HtWinsor,

For me I like the opening 16 bars, as I do feel it's quite fluent and classical there. But when the piano joins, there are way too many unnecessary perfect cadence on E major the tonic. In b.24 the rhythm in the piano is very un-classical. It's not a bad thing itself; actually it's a funny rhythm, but the rhythm just doesn't match the overall context here! For me the next section you should go to B major with new materials as the second theme. That C# major ending is abrupt. You can turn that to a C# minor  and hence allows smoother transition to B major using C# minor as a pivotal chord.
