Hc123 Posted June 15, 2023 Share Posted June 15, 2023 (edited) Hi, this is another piece that I was gonna come back to. It started as a spin off of the waltz no.2 by Shostakovich. I wanted it to feel like a song to actually Waltz to, to kind of feel fun. How does the song make you feel? Any constructive criticism or suggestions on structure and flow would be appreciated. thanks in advance. I have to admit the whole beginning section of the waltz is very similar to the opening theme of Sho's Waltz no.2. I think you should change the theme to prevent that, particularly the rhythm of the melodic theme. In 1:34 there is a new theme and is less akin to it.
