The Journey Continues

Hello all! I've been working on this song the past couple days...and today I finally brought it to this state in which I am comfortable sharing it! I would love some feedback. To me, it personally feels like the most adventurous piece I have composed yet. It starts off with hints of unease, moves into action, and in the end...triumph. I used FL Studio to create it using BBCSO Discover, Intimate Strings, and Epic Voices...all from Spitfire Audio. Lately I have really been trying to branch out from my usual style and grow more and the pieces I am making are ones that I am more confident to share and improve upon! Hope you enjoy the listen.

-Side note, I would love to know what imagery comes to mind when you listen! The different ways we all interpret music is hugely interesting to me so let me know what picture this music paints for you!

Hi Layne!

I think you succeeded at your goal of writing a piece with "hints of unease, action, and triumph"!  I think you could vary the tempo, meter and dynamics more - you stay in 4/4 and at the same tempo throughout the whole piece.  And it seems like the only dynamic changes occur from adding or removing instruments.  The level of tension is also pretty uniform throughout the piece which could also be remedied by writing tempo, meter and dynamic changes.  But the production quality and the samples used are pretty good!  Thanks for sharing.
