Knowing that you are revising the score, I wanna ask something on the scoring. Is the oboe in b.4 in a2 or not? Also, is the viola and 2nd violin in b.15 divisi or non-divisi? I think b.25 the retransition from a V7 with G# to I a bit strange for me. Thx for your update.

I don't think I really understood the question, but as far as I know the oboe in bar 4 is playing a G5? Sorry, I'm very probably missing something here. And yes, both viola and violin parts from b.15 to b.20 are divisi

He’s referring to a2 which means both oboe players 1 and 2 are playing the same thing written. BTW a1 is not a term. Divisi is not a term for woodwinds either. Solo is a better use for solo or putting it by splitting the staff would work better for either oboe 1 or 2. Or just writing for the entrance “Ob. 1” or “Ob. 2” above the staff. Also I’d recommend adding slurs for the instruments. This can tell them when to perform legato and to smoothly connect the notes or perform a run.

Hi @Cafebabe!

I'm surprised I found one of your YT videos that hasn't yet been privated!  LoL  I think you use some of the harmonic devices in this piece a bit unidiomatically for the period.  The kind of half-step rubs you have between the two oboes for example should resolve by the bottom voice going down a step creating a 3rd.  Keep composing!
