August 6, 2025Aug 6 Once again ... Hi all, Here's something I've worked on .... it's a children's classroom song. I plan to submit to the music teacher at my grandson's school. So some feedback is appreciated. I might add more refrains ... (original lyrics). Mark
August 12, 2025Aug 12 Hi Mark @MJFOBOE! I really like this! I love the Mixolydian simplicity of the melody and the easy to understand lyrics! Maybe it could use a chorus in another key? You could build it from extending the ending bit but perhaps in a whole step higher or lower for contrast? Then you could go to that chorus in between each of the verses. It would give the singer a little bit of break from having the sing the whole time since there's rests in it. Great job and thanks for sharing!
