Converting .MUS to Midi

Featured Replies

I have a lot of songs on Finale but I don't know how to convert them to Midi or other format. If anyone knows how, that would be a big help to me.

Open your file with finale and go to save as... change the file format to midi from bottom of the save as window. Finale then asks you which midi format you want to save. Choose the one with each staff different track. This will make your file midi.

If you own finale 2006 or later, you can also save your music as wav or mp3. Go to file/save special. Chosse which format of audio again from botom of the opened window.

I have Finale Notepad and it doesn't have any of those features on mine. There's one song currently that I need as Midi. If it's not too much trouble, could you do it for me this once and send me the midi file? It would be very appreciated.

The song is Another day in the city. It's on the first page of the rock and jazz

i made it midi, but i cant attach it says its in progress. I have to go now, send it to you later sorry.
