37 minutes ago37 min Came across this piece yesterday for the first time, and found it so beautiful, I just had to orchestrate it!Stayed up all night until 06.00 am, because I couldn't stop!I'm totally hooked on orchestration now. You enter notes from a score, like a recipe, and something magical comes out! And it's in a form noone's ever heard before. What could be better than that? The original piano work was written on the day Rachmaninoff died in 1943, as a tribute by his friend Drozdov. There are three movements altogether, and this is just the first. I wonder if I've used too much harp?(N.B. I do not own the copyright for the original work, and no copyright infringement is intended.)
