October 21Oct 21 Hello everyone!I'd like to share one of my original compositions, Wings of Silence. This piece reflects my interest in emotional storytelling through music, particularly the relationship between melody, atmosphere, and the expressive possibilities of instrumental writing. My intention was to create a musical journey that communicates a sense of introspection, emotional depth, and quiet transcendence.I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts, especially regarding:Melodic development – Does the musical material feel expressive and coherent?Harmony and atmosphere – How effectively do they support the emotional character?Orchestration and texture – Do the instrumental layers complement one another?Structure and musical flow – Does the composition maintain your interest throughout?I welcome constructive criticism, including suggestions for improvement. I'm always interested in learning from other composers and exchanging ideas about composition and orchestration.Listen here: [Insert link]Wings Of Silence (audio)Thank you for listening, and I look forward to hearing your feedback!Lampros Marantos
53 minutes ago53 min I am listening to it.At around 10 seconds into the piece you sort of abandon the idea you had in the intro and then you abandon the new idea at around 50 seconds in.I would recomened studying transitions and development. The orchestration seems pretty good which seems to be a strength of the composition but the main issue i think is the sudden abandoning of ideas at times. If you make smooth transitions or at least lead the listner in to the ideas while continously developing the already presenting material i think that would make it a slightly better.
