Hello — a composer writing for the left hand alone

Hello everyone,

I'm Ali Baghbani, a pianist and composer from Tehran, Iran. I write and perform with my left hand only — after an accident left my right hand non-functional, the left hand became my whole instrument, and I compose my pieces directly for it: bass, harmony and melody from a single hand.

I joined Young Composers to share my works, get honest feedback, and hear what other composers are writing. Composing for one hand changes everything about voicing and harmony, and I'm always glad to compare approaches.

Glad to be here.
