Guest CreationArtist
The Sound Exchange/Information Resource Center Philharmonia Philharmonia is probably one of the most instructional and entertaining musical sites around. With the large collection of videos dealing with each instrument (i.e. construction of the instrument, range, articulations, effects, extended techniques, and tips & tricks), the clearly articulated and well organized comments, the other information on the sections of the orchestra, quizzes, and history, the giant and very helpful message board, and also the entire sound exchange concept as well as the composer resource center make Philharmonia the novel resource for all things orchestral. I was slightly disappointed that they had no piano section, but I can easily understand why.
