The source of guidelines - the "british academy of composers and songwriters" has been forced to withdraw its fees guidelines by the OFT...good old stupid britain and its big brother government. How quickly can you turn out a decent 'product'? Some guys do it by the page; measure; or hour. Others do it by how long the piece is.
