April 15, 200718 yr I'd say you should put Eastman on that list as well, they have an amazing undergraduate program plus they need your money.... I think they have around 200 million in their endowment fund... ?=)

April 19, 200718 yr I enjoy the school A LOT, I want to go there. Alas, I'll just have to find out. The school is really phenomenal, especially for the undergrad. I think I've heard numerous "rumors" about schools that prize their graduates above their undergraduates. Though, at Eastman a great deal of emphasis is applied to the undergrad, mainly in how they "force" you to interact with composers of the graduate level and plus you have the largest academic resource in the country available. (I.E. Sibley Music Library) Also! they require you to audition on an instrument! meaning that if you are accepted and go, that you work with one of their professors of music performance! Basically, they make sure that your skills as a performer and composer are top notch. ^_^ Yep, I feel dirty for advertising this school in particular.
