Musicthor Posted June 13, 2007 Share Posted June 13, 2007 OK, considering a part for baritone/euphonium in bass clef that ranges from g2 to g4 (lowest line on the bass clef's staff and second line on the treble clef's staff). Assuming it's a slow moving piece with easy phrasing, is this range easy, moderate, or difficult? Could an average junior in high school play it without too much difficulty? Thanks for your help. I was a mediocre-at-best euphonium player, and what you're describing is something I could sight-read with absolutely no trouble.
