    It may not be that straightforward to get a live recording in the way you suggested. People might be busy, or there might not be many events / concerts nearby. Did you consider those possibilities? I think you made several, arrogant assumptions about this community. The main point of my original post was to encourage us to perform and create live recordings, of not necessarily our own music. Anyway, I'm curious to know how the 'talking to people of a shared interest' is going for you?
