  1. Thanks! I guess I'll get to work!
  2. CPE composed music for Frederick The Great the king of Prussia - who was apparently a skilled flute player. The 1st movement is so wonderful but your performance of the 3rd one is excellent as well. The Flute concerto in A major by CPE Bach is also a good one - try to find a recording and listen to the last movement. Good luck!
  3. I listen to a LOT of Baroque music, so sometimes, when a fugue theme pops in my head I used happily develop the theme when I realize that it is actually Bach's theme. This one, was the case, but I want to continue on it because my "treatment" of the subject is quite different from his, and I found it fun. I do end the piece but could anybody give me tips on how to continue the music? bach theme.mid
  4. Sadly, when it comes to writing fugues, I am hopeless. I have never been able to get any help and therefore I am completely mind blown when it comes to the exposition of a fugue - if I ever get there in the first place. This is a piece which suffered the same fate. It started and then... turned into something strange. It took me about 3 school days to finish. It's about a minute and 30 seconds. fugal concerto in a.mid
