i would suggest tightening up the playing, (you could probably change and remove a few of the notes) because it sounds very weird with that bossa nova beat you have going on there.

my bads for posting this here. i just noticed the forum for avant garde composition, but i suppose you could say that this could fit in this forum, since this kind of rocks? it has distortion? ...oh well. i tried.

well, that's kind of a misnomer, since you could say that i've been trying my hand at avant-garde composition for quite some time, but this is really the first time i've gotten it recorded, ever, and i thought i might as well share it with people and get some thoughts on it, because it's the one thing i've written that i feel really weird about. i'm almost inclined to say that i kind of hate it, (the tone of the guitars is really annoying on this recording), but i enjoy playing it, so here i am. keep in mind that this was kind of a first try, so there are a couple of parts that i messed up while playing it, but of course you wouldn't know that unless you were me. or would you? anyway, just bear with me through this. it's only a 1:13 long. i too am late to join these forums, but i also thought this was really great.
