    Sorry for the late reply. I don't use this site too often. Thank you for the kind comments, and the meaning of the title goes back to something i heard back in high school. One of my teachers always described FortePianos as "a thrown feather" and the exiting middle section followed by the last chord being significantly quieter reminded me of a forte piano, thus the quote.
