I think that it sounded very nice. When you reach the climactic motif at the end I think that there could be a bit more movement. The three note motif is definrtly the focal point, but maybe incorpaorate a complex countermelody that makes the ending a bit more unpredictable. Some scales or more interesting countermelody in the low strings or clarinets perhaps, maybe some appreciation. I would suggest something with either a sixteenth or triplet feel. This is truly a beautiful piece. As a hornist, I approve. The trumpet countermelody could be heard louder with some lower instruments with it. This would make for a larger contrast. I really like the piece. Sorry. This refers to the piece itself, not the mixing.
