  1. Hey Berklee, Thanks for you comments! It's always good hearing someone else's opinions. I'll try adding some more woodwind/brass during the song to tone down the strings - I totally see what you mean about them becoming repetitive. And yeh, I'll need to work on the choir, I added it in at the last minute just to round it off but didn't really work on it properly. The other stuff I've composed is really just trailer music, so short stuff, and I really enjoy it. I don't think this is my best piece but the end of it feels much "fuller" than my other stuff. Thanks again for your comments
  2. Hey everyone! I've been composing some stuff for a couple of months now mainly for use in some fantrailers that I make. I thought it was time that I asked for other people's views on my music (family is no good since they are nice no matter what!). Anyway, I use Cubase and EWQL Gold and Stormdrum to compose and I thought I'd share with you my latest piece. It's called Sanctus and uses a repeated melody on the strings with variations on other instruments buliding up to a choir at the end. Since it's a trailer soundtrack it's just short of two minutes in length. Here it is: Sanctus_with_choir.mp3 - FileFront.com Thanks for you time and comments!
