  1. i wouldn't have guessed that it was an improvisation! it's nice :)
  2. it's a nice song, music-wise! i agree with songjun, that it's an r&b song. i can imagine it getting radio play someday, when the sound(?) quality improves. in any case, i can see you getting a lot of praise for this song as well. :P i'm not too keen on the lyrics (what i could make of it), but some parts i do like, such as the part about keeping emotions inside so that the truth won't be found. i only wish that some of the words were more clearly articulated, but it could also be my fault for not hearing/deciphering so well. she has a nice voice. i know that if i heard it on the radio or something, i would want to hear it again. =)
  3. my high school graduation made me rather sad, and i still miss high school a lot. for some students, i'm not sure if any song will help make it a "good" graduation, when they don't even want it to happen in the first place. having said that, i can't think of anything appropriate for it. i think something instrumental would do best, though.
  4. wow, that's really fast! i'm not sure how playable it is, but it sounds very hard to play. :P then again, i'm not any good on the piano, so of course i would think that. some parts are quite nice and flow well.
  5. they both sound very nice! the second one is especially moving. there's a sense of loneliness, and the yearning to reach out and to reached. but, in the end, the yearning is in vain. that's what i make from it. :w00t: far better than i could ever produce!
  6. i really like it! =) i can imagine it getting radio play... although it does seem to drag on (in my opinion). overall, though, it has a nice feel to it. i wish i could compose techno music... i hope you'll post more techno compositions! :)
  7. i like it! i was jamming to it... =) i wouldn't be able to create anything like that for my first attempt at composing music (i haven't composed anything yet). what program did you use to compose this?
  8. i like it. it moved me... and i think the slow pace of it can reflect the way it feels like your world can move so slowly when you're feeling down. and despite how the rest of the world's worlds can move quickly, and that you might not be able to keep up with all of the moving about, this piece can act as your companion... because, it, too, moves slowly... and so it will do so with you. i think it's a nice piece to... release your emotions to. i would have liked to see changes in dynamics, to help reflect the intensity of changing emotions. :)
  9. it does sound like someone's expressing their frustration... and anger at the end. and the volcano (individual) explodes at the end... so, the music does reflect your mood at the time of composition. :) although it has a lot of dissonance, it does accomplish what you set it out to do: to express yourself. and in the end, that's what matters.
