  1. Thank You for listening Jeff. i tried making less reverb, but it then ends up sounding like really dull midi ( lol well duh it is midi and software instruments ) BUT ... am i doing or understanding something wrong ... or are there others ways to make it sound good without throwing buckets of reverb on the tracks ...?? Sorry for sounding completely newby and stuff, but i wanna learn it all *insert creepy music here* ( i apologize for my hyperness ) So if anyone has any tips or tricks ( effects or plugins or stuff like that ) or anything else that you might wanna say please let me know.
  2. Hai all, I've just started exploring Logic 8. The very first thing that caught my attention was the Matrix Editor. Cuz i've been using ProTools, but it isn't strong with midi (and so i didnt really bother to use midi in PT) .... but anyways This is the very first time i made an orchestral piece. Catherina Andrea - Choice_D - eSnips, share anything Anyone have any pointers or comments about the piece, please let me know. :) Thank You !
  3. Abracadabra, I can't make a midi of this, because my Finale isn't allowing me to export Midi files. I'm Sorry :( rolifer, thank you for your comment. I've got to say I totally forgot about the part that wind blowers need to breath when playing. Whoops :( Anyways I made a score. (normally I'm lazy and write songs down only when needed ... and ... um, I suck at writing music and notes :)) PS: I couldn't make the drum part on finale. I don't really know how to work with drum sets in finale. FairyTale.MUS
  4. This is the first song I'm posting here. I'm experimenting a little with my knowledge and instrument. This is a theme I came up with out of nowhere, but I wanted it to have a fairy like aura and feeling. Cathrina - MMORPG - FairyTale - MP3.mp3 There are a few questions that I like to know. 1 - Is it fitting for a magic or fairy-ish game theme? 2 - Does it have a recognizeable melody, the kind that sticks in your memory, but doesn't make you think of ways to get rid of it. In other word a pleasant melody. :P 3 - Whatever you think of. Good parts or Bad parts. Thank you for listening. ;)
