  1. @ rolifer: I actually don't want to put anything like that into this piece. It's supposed to be more laid back and relaxing, and a woodwind with 16th notes or something like that would just make it sound more crowded instead of make it fuller. (Does this make sense?) However, I changed up the tuba part a bit so there is one beat of rest every other measure. @ pianoman216: I really hoped that the piano 5ths would stay in the background where they belong, as I'm not good at writing the left hand for piano. That part about syncopating actually did make sense, after I read it twice... My middle school band teacher was always explaining to me how there would be odd rules and guidelines that I would run into while dealing with music. I think I'll just be syncopating it because I don't think I'll enjoy 8/4 time... @ SaXoPhoNe-AlT: Thank you for the compliment. :)
  2. So, this is my first post here on young composers :D, and I think I'm looking forward to staying here. I've been on some other composing sites, and my main problem is that I don't usually have a good harmony in my arrangements, (my background and foreground are usually fine.) This is a theme that I came up with while playing the piano. At first, I wanted it to be a piano duet, but the result wasn't sounded too good, so I switched to an ensemble including one piano, a harp to harmonize according to the chords, and a low string/brass combination for the background. I still need to make an intro, and after that, I will be continuing with another chord structure and melody. Any suggestions for a title would be awesome too. :) P.S. It is better listened to when human playback is checked. (Document-->Enable Human Playback) P.P.S. I apologize for not being able to provide a midi version, but finale notepad does not have a feature that allows you to make a midi of your song. (If it does, than I would like to know how! :)) Another-song.MUS
