  1. Wish you the best of luck on the performance! Though I had a bit of trouble with the MIDI (probably something on my end) I liked what I heard, and I think the aleatoric parts will really come through well. How large of a group will be performing this?
  2. Thank you for all of your input so far, and sorry about the quality of the score! Though this is just a draft (haven't cleaned up clashing and such yet), I did learn a few things: ledger lines confuse the heck out of me, so that's why I used 8vb lines instead; didn't know any of the rules octave modifier lines, for that matter; and thanks for the rule on dynamics in vocal parts - I guess, being a singer before I ever started writing for voice, I never noticed the difference. Thanks again for the help.
  3. Thanks for all the replies :D I don't really see the connection either, to be honest, but at the time, the title sounded good, so I just left it as it was. As for the notation issues, thank you for bringing them to my attention. I guess not considering this a 'serious' composition, I rather overlooked some of them and just let Sibelius do whatever it deemed best. Thanks for the welcoming :o)
  4. Alright, so the hot water heater in the complex died a terrible death, and I really wanted to take a shower. That's the story. This fell out of my head while I was waiting :o) Sorta jazzy, sorta impressionistic.. I don't know. Just a free-form.. thing. 5. I found this little Latin echo a while back and toyed with the idea of setting it to music in various ways before finally figuring that perhaps this could be a chance to play with a unique staging. While I haven't come up with anything in particular, it may be a fun piece to do "in the round", though, with a larger auditorium, a well lit conductor will be fairly helpful. The text: Amore, more, ore,re: probatur amicitiae Love, behavior, words, deeds: these prove friendship What with the text being based on echos, the music is, in general, more structured around the lyrics than anything else. Let me know what you think Recording: SoundClick artist: Drab Makyo - Renderings of my compositions (and recordings, should any happen) for school and for pleasure. Score: Attached.
