    Does anyone here have a good textbook for orchestration to recommend? Preferably a modern one that deals with both traditional playing methods of instruments as well as contemporary. I've reached a point now where I really need to stop basing everything I do on intuition and get myself some proper education! Thanks, Mark

    I realize its been close to two years since you wrote this, but I was browsing through these forums and thought it might be fun to see if I could do anything fun with your cello material.
