  1. Brass Quintet

    First, some info about myself: I am 14 years old and play trumpet in a high school band. i have a thing for music, but when it comes to writing it down, it just doesnt work out how it sounds in my head. i would like to fix this! right now, I am having trouble with a brass quintet. i love the brass quintet sound, and i would like to play the song i compose (i play trumpet). I just can't think of what to do... I can usually get a good beginning, but then, nothing. I have tried numerous amounts of times to get past this point, most times starting completely over, abandoning my previous opening and coming up with a whole new one. Any help would be appreciated. Attatched is my current opening, which i think sounds like i want it. thoughts on improvement as well as where i should go from this would be GREAT! quint.mid
