  1. Was wondering if anybody can help me out with recording from instrument to my computer. I have a Yamaha P-60, and HP Media Centre 2.8ghz 2 Gig RAM. It will be classical piano pieces that I am going to record, so I'm wondering about how to use splitters and adapters without degrading the sound. My assumption is that I will need a 1/4" splitter, plugged into my piano, and the two out ports will go to my headphones, and the other to the comp. I'll also need a 1/4" => 1/8" adapter so I can plug the 1/4" cord into my computer. So I'm wondering if anyone could give me some info on the different brands/types of the above mentioned splitters. There are so many that I can't make an educated purchase... Any help appreciated. Thanks
