  1. Thank you. As I said, this was a sort of experiment, and I'd like to take some of the themes from this, and make a concerto, likely using the opening for a fast opening movement, and the two middle in a slower movement, and the closing, mixed with the opening, themes in the finale. I'm glad you, too, shared the 'rough' view. Once again, thank you, Ueber
  2. Yes, I've come to see this. I've made my introduction, and reviewed several pieces. There are some nice works here, and I can only hope mine are rated among them, or someone can point me in the right direction to get there. Ueber
  3. Very nice, the eigth note rythymns and abruptness of some of the stops gave a very syncopated feel. It had a nice evolution throughout. Ueber
  4. I really like the ideas, but at some points, it gets too off rythymn. I can see what you're trying to do with some of these parts, but the idea is stay on rythymn while having the beats in a seemingly offbeat, off-rythymn, un-related pattern. They sound good though, if you did some re-mixing, it could be that much better. Nice job, Ueber
  5. Yes, thank you, I was aware of the topic, I merely chose to make my introduction coupled with music.
  6. What better introduction to the forum than a musical work? 'Rough Sonatina' is a piece I started working on almost as a sort of experiment, namely an experiment with instrument choice. Instrument list is as follows: Harpsichord, Harmonium, Violin (I and II), Cello, Clarinet, Ukulele, and Percussion (Sand Block, Anvil, and Timpani). I hope you enjoy it. No score is presented, namely because it is not available on this computer, merely the MP3. http://www.upload-mp3.com/pfiles/15806/op1_Rough_Sonatina.mp3 Thank you all, feedback is much appreciated.
