I'm a playwright working on a musical comedy using the music of Meat Loaf. Yes, it is a "jukebox musical," and yes I do not like them, but this is an exception. It's called "Mamma Meat Loaf", and I'm looking for a composer to take selected songs from the first two "Bat Out of Hell" albums and arrange them for guitar, bass, drums, sax, and keyboard. Also maybe to rearrange the vocals to fit a more comfortable range, still a tenor, but maybe dropping some things without destroying the integrity of the vocals. If anyone is interested, I can get info immediately.

It's a traditional musical, along the lines of "Guys and Dolls", "Damn Yankees", or "Fiddler on the Roof", but with modern sensibility. I have a script, as well as lyrics for all major songs. At the moment, I have several sketches of songs. I am looking for someone to turn these sketches into actual songs fit for a musical. This person would be given composer credit and I look forward to hearing from anyone interested.
