Anachronism

Sorry for the double post, but I wasn't aware most people weren't able to view sibelius files on here (a little confused at this since it's a simple web plugin that's easy to download and use). Wow this is great! I love the harmony and the melody, they weave together so nicely. If it was a little longer I'd definitely like to play this myself just as a piece to enjoy in leisure time. A couple of comments: The transition in measure 18 seems a little awkward, the duples seeming a little too sudden. Also, I wish the section starting at measure 27 with the running 16th notes went on longer. As it is now it seems more like a fragment that was throw in on a whim. If you could expand that section a little it would make the consequent transition smoother (the one with the rit.). Other than that, I love the piece and am sure it will receive high marks. Nice job!

Yes .... writer's block. I'm not satisfied by the stop in measure 21, nor with the ending, but am unsure of a way in which to elongate the piece. I'm also aware of the difficulty of playing 32nd notes on a cello at this speed in measure 10, it was added just on a whim. I have had no formal training in composition before. This was written a while ago and just added to every once in a blue moon until it became this (un)finished product. I'd appreciate any feedback on this. Thanks in advance. Also, sorry I couldn't get to convert it to pdf format, my program didn't want to work and I have yet to find out what the problem is. I hope most users will be able to view and listen to the piece.
