"How to add grace notes. Can anyone help me?" In Finale 2003: On the icon bar, I select the eighth-note box for "SIMPLE ENTRY TOOL" Across the top, I now read a revised menu: ... Options Simple Trade-Up ... I select "Simple" then select "Check for Extra Notes" Then I was able to add a 1/32 grace notes to a dotted half in 3/4 time. I was also able to add a slur from the grace note to the dotted half. I was so happy to finally find this. (I was working on Minuet 2 by J. S. Bach.) It also works in Finale NotePad 2008: Window Help Trade-up becomes Window Help Simple Trade-Up. Then "Simple" followed by "Check for Extra Notes on Mouse Click" G'luck! Lisa
