  1. An original compostion An Ode For J
  2. Yeah, I know. Thanks for the comment. =)
  3. Please check out my new compo and comment. thanks. =)
  4. Thanks. =) And yeah, sorry for the low quality sound...
  5. Yeah, i see what you mean. 5.40 is total frustration. It feels like it's hanging on the verge of satisfaction but never quite reaching it. Rather unpleasant feeling I would say. But that's the whole point, right? :) Whereas in my composition, I move to a chord V - G major in the key C - at 2.06, which causes the frustration to finally meet satisfaction (at least that was what I wanted it to do). And thanks for watching. :)
  6. I know... But I can't find a good free music notation software. And it takes quite long to do it manually. And I don't know how to use MIDI. Do you need to install a MIDI software? *sigh* But thanks...=)
  7. This composition is a bit different from my others as it actually gives a message... I outlined the main theme a long time ago, but it took me quite some time find the correct melody and chord progressions to produce the effect I was looking for. I think it turned out quite okay and would really like to know what you guys think. Please view and give me feedback. :) And..emm.. Can anyone give me some examples of contemporary piano composers? I'm really confused because I've listen to a few composers who call their compositions "contemporary", but, strangely, the type of music sounds totally different. So can anyone clarify this with me?
  8. Check out my new composition and please tell me what you think. Thanks. :)
  9. Okay, thanks, I'll keep that in mind... And..Emm.. I'm not familiar with Japanese cartoon pop at all I'm afraid... Can you direct me to a place where I can listen it? It'll be very much appreciated.. :) I'm looking more for opinions and/or suggestions.... Anyone, please?
  10. Not bad.. =) But I find music 1 to be like a rip off version of The Unfinished Story by Isisip... But you probably never heard of it before...=)
  11. Okay... I won't call this 'contemporary piano music' anymore as I've been told it has a totally different meaning... :) I've reviewed a couple of compositions from this forum and after listening I would think, how on earth am I going compete with that? *sigh* Everyone's like extremely talented and skilled, and I'm like...*sigh* But please comment and let me know how I can improve my compositions... As for the rather poor video and audio quality, I apologize again... And I would also appreciate if anyone can tell me what type of music this is..Ha ha.. Thanks... :)
  12. Not bad...:) I too have trouble believing that you have no theory training...Well, other than the score.. and the weak ending...and... and.. ... lol.. just joking... :)
  13. Nikolas, Em.. Honestly, I don't really know what type of music I'm playing so I just made a guess... I guess it was a wrong one... And about the poor quality video and audio, I apologize... The video was taken via a phone video camera, so, yeah... Sorry.. I'll try to get a better one, but for now I don't think I can afford to... And, okay, I'll try to dress up better...:) Although I never played with my shoes on before...and I thought bare footed was okay... Thanks....and yeah, the score should be easy to make, but what is midi, by the way? Nirvana69, Thanks, and, okay, I'll be warned..:) So what type of music do you guys think this is?
  14. Hey, really, thanks man.... That's really encouraging... :) I haven't come out with a score yet, but I'll try to do it soon...Thanks again!
