  1. @ John, this was one of the first pieces I ever wrote (3 years ago). Extremely simple...
  2. Another of my Nocturnes. One of my favorites. :) Nocturne
  3. etude easy simple Etude
  4. Well there wasn't really much progression, it's supposed to be a freer form of orchestral music. More like a symphonic poem.
  5. Ok, I found the rhythms to be actually quite amusing, but I don't think it flowed very well. Because this piece was heavily atonal, I would suggest that you use the C major key signature instead of C sharp. If you were trying to imitate contemporary composers such as Schoenberg and Xenakis, you did a good job...but unfortunately I'm not fond of that kind of music XD Anyway, I know it's your first work and you may think it sounds bad, but keep going. When I started composing, my first pieces of music weren't the best... Don't be too hard on yourself.
  6. Concerto in G Major for Piano and Orchestra. My first. I wrote this about a year ago and have decided to return and edit it with better musical knowledge. Enjoy! Piano Concerto
  7. BTW, i just wrote this first movement, and will be writing the others soon.
  8. Yes, I need some suggestions, I will take care of that! Also, I would like to hear your opinions on the transitions.
  9. Orchestral Suite that Represents a certain time of day in each movement. This is the first movement only, Dawn. Passage of Time Suite: Mov. I- Dawn
  10. Thanks for the feedback guys! @ AntiA: I think the ending needs to be tweaked most. Honestly, when I wrote this, a lot of it was improvisation while trying to maintain the theme throughout in different ways, time signatures, with different instruments, etc. @jawoodruff: yeah, i see what you mean, the celesta is really important and should come over everything else. It gives a sort of otherworldly/dreamy texture to the piece
  11. Beautiful Nocturne Orchestral Nocturne
  12. A beautiful nocturne. Trying to depict a forest along a lake at night with the reflection of the moon in the water. Nocturne (Night Sky)
  13. Thanks Yeah, I was too lazy to put in proper pedal markings haha, I'll also work on the dynamics more. But thank you so much for the feedback! I'll be sure to upload more in a few minutes.
  14. A Ballade in B flat Minor with quite a few themes. Ballade (No. 1)
