Little Songs in G
Two cute little pieces. Well done for your first attempt at a solo piano piece. I can tell that you play the piano because you write with the performer in mind, and that you probably 'worked out' the pieces on the piano as you wrote them down. Good job. I hate it when people write unpianistic solo piano works that resemble orchestral reductions and expect the pianist to be able to perform them.

"Christ the Lord is Risen Today" Variations
This was truly a pleasure to hear. I couldn't help but smile when I heard this piece. The best theme and variation I've heard so far on this forum (However, I am a new member and I've only heard a few). Great job, now go out and make more variations off a different equally familiar theme.

Variations on a late Beethoven Bagatelle sketch
Let me first say that Beethoven is my favorite composer. This is a very interesting set of theme and variations. Before I comment any further I want to ask if you yourself are a pianist and if you intended to write this piece in the style of Beethoven. I await your reply.

Wow. Very very contemporary. What program did you use to write this piece out? You should post the re-write of the score with performance notes included. I'm not sure of what to think of this piece. I personally don't care for contemporary music so my opinion is probably biased. However, the music does seem to has a purpose and flow to it (unlike other contemporary piece which sound like a bunch of random notes). All I can say is that it was very intriguing, and when my musical tastes and interests mature, I hope to have a better appreciation of this piece.

Tender in C#minor
The left hand is very Chopin-like. The only real criticism I have is that the entire piece is the same texture, and I believe you could re-work the ending. You could possibly expand upon this piece. I like the poly-rhythm between the the left and right hands of two against three. Good work.

Piano Sonata in C minor
Thanks to all who have taken the time to review my piece. I intend to write the other movements at some point but as of right now, I have not even started them. Composing is on the back burner right now. My main focus is piano performance. I hope to record this piece someday. Maelstrom, thank you for your in depth review of my composition. I completely agree with you about hitting the tonic chord too much. I realized the primary theme is mainly composed of dominant and tonic chords. Harmonic diversity is not one of my strong points but I'm working on improving it. Anyways, this piece was indeed written with heavy influence from many of the old Classical era composers (mostly Beethoven). I have not yet developed my own style, but everybody's got to start somewhere. This is only my fourth completed piece so far. I'm glad you noticed how much the movement conforms to the classical sonata allegro form. After all, the piece was the final part of a presentation about sonata allegro form. Thank you again for your reviews and hopefully I'll post the entire sonata soon.

Piano Sonata in C minor
I'm new to this forum so this is the first composition I'm posting here. It is the first movement of a piano sonata that I hope to complete. It is in sonata allegro form and took me a long time to write. I hope you like it despite the horrible sounding midi piano. Thank you for your time and constructive criticism is welcomed. *Edit* I accidentally uploaded the incomplete version first. Now here is the actual finished version. Note: The midi version skips the repeat at the end of the development. Imperial Sonata 1st Mvt..MUS final project midi.MID
