Hey man, I would like some help. I never have had a theory class, but I have picked up a little theory in my high school orchestra the past two years. i have finale and i can write some melodies down but my problem is i cannot move it along to another theme and cannot create smooth transitions. i think the problem is that i do not know enough theory so i would like to strengthen and work on the basics.

Hey. I saw your offer and I could not pass it up. I started the violin player in 4th grade and I have been playing it for the last 9 years. The last two years of high school I was able to reach the highest orchestra in my school which is really good for a high school orchestra. I am in my first year of college. classroom wise, I never have had a theory class. But with my last two years in high school, I was able to pick up some theory but not a lot. i have finale software so I have been writing down some melodies that come in my head but since I do not have a lot of theory knowledge, I never got that far with them. I guess I am trying to get a stronger foundation in music theory out of this.

Hello out there. I am interested in getting some music software but I do not know what to get. Right now I have little experience in composing but I really want to get into it more regularly. I am not a music major but I am a music minor so I am doing this more on my own. Any suggestions for someone who is just starting out in it?
