Thanks for the replies and comments!!! Esim, you are quite right about the melody at about 6 mins in, i will work on a way to make the melody here abit more interesting and fill in some silent gaps. Derek, your comments were great. I definantly need to change keys at some time!!! At the moment my piano skills are limited so each song i compose is basically in that same key. This is mostly due to self teaching, so i should find an instructor to help me. As for the rhythm, as soon as u mentioned how monotonous it seemed, i raced up to the piano to try it with different rhythms and timing. I couldn't!. It didnt seem to fit in with the song's theme. This may be a side effect of my ear to composing at this time, so in the future, maybe i will understand what u mean more. Only time can tell ;) What i would like is if somebody on these forums would make thier own version of my composition, perhaps with more piano skills than myself. This way i could really see it come to life in another form. So if anybodies got any free time try remix my composition an send it back!!! I love peoples interpretations of music. Steviedee Out>>>

Hi Everyone, My name is Steve and i am new to the forums. I am 19 years old and live in Sydney, Australia. As such I have one piece of music published and am currently working on others. The composition i have attached is one i wrote last year, and i would just like some feedback on it if you have time. Unfortunately my piano skills are not too good :P so there are a few stuff ups in the recording and the chords are very basic. Also it is about 8 minutes long and 7 mb and the quality is not too hot.... Anyway, any comments would be much appreciated.
