I'm having, and i always had, trouble with introducing a piece of music before a performance. I don't have any ideas on what to say apart from the composer's name and the title of the piece, but my teacher is always telling me that I need to say more than just that - give some facts about the piece or something like that. Anyways, can anyone help me with writing an introduction for the following pieces: BACH - Prelude and Fuge XXI BEETHOVEN - Adagio con molto espressione (MVT. 2 from sonata 11 Op. 22) CHOPIN - Waltz Opus 69 no. 1 DEBUSSY - Golliwogg's cakewalk :D Thanx Niels

I know that... but on some scores you have the alternating time signatures stuck together at the beginning or the section so 3/4 and 6/8 alternating would look like 36/48...

1. What is your favorite STYLE of music to play--- Classical - Romantic (like around Beethoven's time) (but more on the romantic side of things... 2. What is your favorite PIECE to play--- Ummm thats a hard one... Nocturne (OP. 9 NO. 3) or Pathetic sonata by old beety 3. Why did you start to play an instrument--- Cant remember exactly... but i was told by me parents that it was 4 and a half... on the PIANO :)

i draw a sort of a sidways v or w first for the middle and the 2 c on the to and bottom....

I like working on one motif until i think its long enough and good enough... and then start on the second theme... i am one of those people who cant think of themes easily ... so i just play around with the existing one until another one flows out
