  1. Very well ! The energy and the momentum here are both great, and it all sounds very professional. Keep it up !
  2. Thanks for the comment, John =) Do you know if Cubase or Pro Tools work on PC, or is just Mac? Another problem that I have is that my PC has such a low memory for these times... I think I'm lucky it can work with FL studio
  3. Thank you very much for your review, much appreciated
  4. OR LISTEN TO IT HERE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gdOWxyMULA
  5. With this track, I tried to capture the essence of our Moon. The horns and the strings provide a feeling of mystery and beauty. Vibraphone and piano on its highest registers match the silver brightness of the moonlight. The choir gives a sense of other-wordly fantasy, contributing to this track with size and scope. My main influences to compose this piece were Danny Elfman, Clint Mansell, Alexandre Desplat and Hans Zimmer.Recorded in FL Studio, using the following sound libraries:- East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra- East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Choirs- Synthogy Ivory PianosEdited in Audacity.Hope you enjoy it ;)Oaksdonsad To The Moon
  6. Thank you guys for the comments, they're really helpful (:
  7. This is a piece I composed some time ago, but only I could really record it the way I wanted it to sound, since I got Synthogy Ivory Pianos :)Comments are welcome :)Hope you enjoy, Oaksdonsad Shadow of a Ghost
  8. Forgot the link: Here's the scene with my music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ri5jVvEM25A
  9. This a piece that I composed for a very well-known movie. I composed it based on the script, and then, when the movie came out, I developed the music according to the scene. Here's the scene with my music:With this piece, I wanted, firstly, to prepare the listener with an anxious and energetic chase sequence, and then make the music explode with this gothic-influenced tragic feeling. When I composed this, the movie and the original score were not yet released. However, I love the score in this specific scene (by Howard Shore).comments are welcome =) Riley Is Born Again
  10. I like it The melody is very nice, and the beginnig is just awesome! Also loved the "game over" feeling at the end, I can totally picture this playing on an anime =) Very well done, keep it up!
  11. I think it's a very charming and sweet love theme! Very emotional and accessible =) Well done!
  12. I loveed this one =)) very well done ma friend =) sorry if this comparison is offensive, but it makes think Hans Zimmer's "Chevaliers de Sangreal" sometimes Oaksdonsad
  13. Hi =) Sorry, I'm kind of newbie to this, so... what does mean "clipping" ? =) Well i used a Yamaha keybord wich as really crappy strings... I actually tried to made something that could be at the same time dark and ethereal, not just traditionally dark, but I will try to increase the bass sound when i make a proper revision to this.. Thanks for the comment and the welcoming =) Oaksdonsad
  14. Hi =) I recorded the various instruments with my Yamaha keybord and then put them all together with Audacity... THank you for the suggestions =) Oaksdonsad
  15. Hi John Axon First of all, thanks for your comment. Yes, the video is made by the stills of the opening sequence of the movie. When you ask me what programs did I use to compose this, I don't fully understand... Well, I didn't write down the notes in a score, I prefer to organize melodies in my head. I recorded each instrument with my Yamaha keybord and then used the program Audacity to clean the audio as much as I could and put the various instruments together and synchronized. I acknowledged your suggestions, and I will made a few changes on this composition sometime. Thanks =) Oaksdonsad
